Solutions for diverse applications
Potassium chloride – key raw material for the chlor-alkali industry
Potassium chloride is a base product used in chlor-alkali electrolysis in the membrane process. It is also the basis for producing potassium hydroxide. KOH is a versatile raw material with a wide range of applications, for example in the food, agricultural, and glass industries, or as a de-icing agent for airport runways.
High-purity sodium chloride for chlor-alkali electrolysis
Sodium chloride is used in chlor-alkali electrolysis to produce chlorine and caustic soda. The obtained chlorine serves as a starting material for the production of isocyanates, which are precursors for polyurethane products such as PVC, MDI, and TDI, which are used in construction, for example.
Magnesium sulfate for pulp and paper production
Anhydrous magnesium sulfate is a versatile additive. In pulp and paper production, for instance, it reliably and efficiently produces high-quality white paper.
