Diversity and inclusion in the workplace

As a signatory to the Diversity Charter, we promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We want our company to reflect the heterogeneity of the labor markets in which we operate regionally: For us, diversity means the composition of our workforce and inclusion means actively utilizing this diversity by including and valuing all characteristics of our employees in our day-to-day work .

Everyone is diverse - in an individual way

Diversity manifests itself in several dimensions: 

  • At the center of a person is their personality.
  • The inner dimensions / core dimensions show the almost unchangeable characteristics that have the greatest influence on inclusion or exclusion.
  • The further away a characteristic is from the core of the model, the more flexible and changeable it becomes (e.g. change of work location). However, this has no influence on the value of the dimension. Each dimension is equally important.

... appreciative leadership

We expect all employees to treat each other with trust and respect as equals and to be open to new ideas and different points of view. Managers act as role models and have a special responsibility in this regard. We have therefore set ourselves the goal of promoting appreciative and unprejudiced leadership even more strongly. We also want to promote a more balanced gender distribution, encourage cross-generational working and the transfer of knowledge and encourage our employees to question processes. We want to actively promote the inclusion of our employees with disabilities and a healthy work/life balance for all employees.
