As a Production & Process Engineering trainee, you will familiarize yourself with two of our German production sites, which will prepare you for your future role as an operations assistant. You will gain insight into various production and processing methods, learn to control and optimize plants, and gradually take on more responsibility. This is the ideal start for engineers specializing in chemical, processing, or process engineering.

What it Looks Like in Practice
As part of our trainee program, you will learn about the many facets of production and process engineering at K+S. You will gain experience with everything from processing crude salt and controlling chemical-physical processes to maintaining and optimizing our plants. You will play an active role in day-to-day operations, take responsibility for sub-processes, and contribute ideas to improve processes. Through this experience, you will develop a deep understanding of technical interrelationships, safety, and quality in production, while gaining valuable experience directly at our production sites.
