Your Responsibilities
Reporting to Supervisor, Accounting, the Student, Accounting provides financial accounting support to the Finance department and other K+S group companies. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
General Financial Accounting Support:
Prepare journal entries and assist with posting transactions
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Maintain and reconcile prepaid expenses
Assist with reconciliation and cleanup of vendor/customer accounts
Review reconciliations of corporate credit cards
Assist with proper recording of intercompany transactions
Period End Closing Support:
Prepare and post required month-end/quarter-end closing entries
Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements and notes
Perform account reconciliations and correct any differences that arise
Other Ad Hoc Duties as Required :
Assist with running reports for any compliance reporting
Pulling documents/supports for other departments, as needed
Other duties as assigned

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Accounting, Finance, or Business Program
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and coordinate competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
SAP experience would be considered an asset, but not required
Experience in a finance role considered an asset
This position is a 4-month term starting May 2026, on-site based at the Saskatoon head office.
