At the Bad Salzdetfurth site, we granulate the animal hygiene product CATSAN as well as other cat litter products for the German and European markets for the Mars company. The production capacity is about 200,000 tonnes per year. Here, we succeeded in successfully continuing to use existing facilities and large parts of the infrastructure of a decommissioned potash plant.
