Change in the Board of Executive Directors of K+S

Holger Riemensperger appointed as new member of the Board of Executive Directors

Kassel, 11.03.2021 
The Supervisory Board of K+S Aktiengesellschaft has appointed Mr. Holger Riemensperger (51) to the Board of Executive Directors of the Company. As of April 1, 2021, he will assume responsibility as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the management and further development of the Agriculture and Industry+ customer segments, and the Production and Engineering, Supply Chain as well as Health, Safety, Sustainability, Quality & Management System functions at K+S.

We have been able to attract an experienced manager to K+S with proven expertise in the fields of nutrition and health as well as comprehensive operating leadership experience, which he has gained at globally operating industrial companies. We are convinced to successfully promote the ongoing realignment of K+S with Mr. Riemensperger”, says Dr. Andreas Kreimeyer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Company. 

Mark Roberts (57), former COO of K+S and current CEO of U.S.-based Morton Salt, will assume new responsibilities within the  group of companies held by Stone Canyon Industries following the completion of the sale of the Americas operating unit expected by summer at the latest.

As a dedicated leader, he has played a decisive role in shaping K+S, and we wish him success in his future endeavors and all the best personally,” continued Dr. Andreas Kreimeyer.
