Your Responsibilities
This position is for a 4-month term from May – August. 2026. On-site based at the Saskatoon Head Office.
Reporting to Manager of Geology, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager and Project Geologist with ongoing mine development and directional drilling activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Log, photograph and sample core, perform core splitting, and down hole geophysical log interpretation.
Complete core logging historical core and clay testing.
Work with Geology team to upload and QA/QC the geologic data management systems.
Assist with well site geological chip categorization and logging.
Directional drilling data management.
Additional responsibilities as required.

Your Profile

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Geology program in year 3 or 4.
Must be returning to fulltime studies in the fall.
Previous summer employment experience is preferred.
Basic understanding of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Mining experience or directional drilling experience is preferred.
Experience with geophysical log interpretation is an asset.
Database experience would be a plus.
Moderate to strong abilities in Microsoft Office including Excel.
Authorized to legally work in Canada.
Valid Class 5 Drivers license is required.
