Board of Executive Directors waives part of its annual remuneration

08-18-2020
The members of the Board of Executive Directors of K+S Aktiengesellschaft will waive part of their variable remuneration for the current financial year. If the annual variable remuneration component (STI - Short Term Incentive) reaches 100 percent, the total amount waived by the Board of Executive Directors corresponds to 665,000 euros.

“The challenges in times of the corona pandemic continue to be demanding for our company as well. It is important for us to send a clear message with the remuneration waiver,” says Dr. Burkhard Lohr, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of K+S Aktiengesellschaft.

Already a few weeks ago, the members of the Supervisory Board of the company had declared a waiver of remuneration in order to support institutions and projects in the vicinity of the K+S sites that have been disproportionally affected by the negative impact of COVID-19.
