Foliar fertilization effectively covers nutrient demand peaks and alleviates nutrient deficiency symptoms. But how do plants take up nutrients? And what needs to be considered during the application of foliar fertilizers to reach their full potential? Is it always possible to combine any desired foliar fertilizer with each other or a fertilizer with a crop protection compound? And what should be considered in terms of spraying technique, e.g. nozzle selection, to improve the crop's fertilizer management?
Here you will gain comprehensive knowledge of this topic - from the basics to practical advice. The session starts with the basics of foliar fertilization, such as the uptake of nutrients by the different uptake organs of the leaf surface. Then the influence of different application factors such as relative humidity, water quality, and the compatibility of different compounds in tank mixtures will be discussed.
The webinar speaker will give a detailed insight into foliar fertilization and answer your individual questions during the discussion.

Dr. Patrick Lawson is an R&D agronomist and product developer at K+S headquarters in Kassel, Germany. He has over 10 years of experience as an R&D agronomist and over 6 years of experience in the turf grass as well as in the potash industry. During this time he has gained hands-on experience with foliar applications on a number of different crops including vegetables, sports turf, and broad acreage crops.

I have registered for a webinar but have not received a confirmation e-mail. What can I do?
The confirmation e-mail is automatically generated and sent by the software provider "GoToWebinar". If you do not receive a confirmation mail after registration, it is possible that this mail was intercepted by your SPAM filter. You can avoid this by adding the e-mail address „customercare@gotowebinar.com“ as an allowed sender in your SPAM settings. If you do not find a confirmation mail in the SPAM filter either, please register again or contact us at KALI- Akademie@k-plus-s.com.
How does the webinar work?
The KALI Academy webinars are online presentations in which you can participate live from your PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
Just before the webinar: You will receive your personal participation link in an e-mail one hour before the webinar begins. Please click on it a few minutes before the time indicated. A window will open in your browser. Please make sure your speakers are turned on.
During the webinar: You will follow the online presentation delivered by the speaker via the on-screen presentation. Neither your webcam nor your audio will be transmitted, the list of participants will only be shown to the moderator. You can enter your questions in a text field and the speaker will answer them after the presentation. You can also simply enter any technical questions and the moderator can respond directly with a text message.
After the webinar: After the end of the webinar, a short survey will appear. It will help us to improve our webinars. Please take a moment to complete it. You will receive a follow-up e-mail with a link to the webinar recording.
The webinar is about to start, but I cannot hear the voice/have other technical problems. What could be the reason for that?
Our webinars are browser-based and work best with one of the latest two versions of Google Chrome. Alternatively, Mozilla Firefox should be working as well.
Please check whether your speaker is activated.
Click the "refresh" button in your browser.
If the problems persists, just close the browser and come back in by clicking on the link in the e-mail again. Now, everything should be working perfectly.
I would like to receive a certificate of attendance. Is that possible?
Yes, your certificate of attendance for the respective webinar of the KALI Academy will be sent to you in the follow-up e-mail approximately one week after the webinar. If you need a more detailed certificate, please contact us at KALI-Akademie@k-plus-s.com.
What are the technical requirements for participating in a webinar?
For your participation in a webinar, you need
a PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with internet connection
audio on your computer via loudspeakers or headphones (headsets or microphones are not necessary as we accept your questions in writing)
a current browser (we recommend Google Chrome). No software is installed on the PC, as the webinar will run on your browser.
Unfortunately, something came up at short notice and I cannot attend the webinar after all. What can I do?
You have the possibility to cancel your registration via a link in the confirmation e-mail. We will still provide you with some information on the webinar topic via e-mail.
