Operations Coordinator

Your Responsibilities

As the Operations Coordinator for the Operations team at Morton Salt in Port Canaveral, this person will be responsible for:

• Entering, extracting, analyzing and effectively sharing operational data as it relates to key performance indicators of the facility across all functions
• Assisting in the creation of one to three-year business plans and maturity matrices at the direction of the General Manager with input from functional leaders
• Generating project plans based on tasks, milestones and other inputs from functional leaders as they relate to continuous improvement and operational initiatives within the facility
• Supporting tasks and projects associated with each functional area as they relate to short and long-term operational business plans
• Other duties as reasonably assigned

Your Profile

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or related discipline strongly preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience supporting multiple functions within a manufacturing facility or industrial environment at an analyst or coordinator level or higher
• 1-2 years’ demonstrated project management or process/continuous improvement experience/exposure
• 1-2 years’ experience specific to a manufacturing environment preferred
