Mine Production Supervisor
Your Responsibilities
Morning Safety meeting/toolbox/SOP review (morning) Discuss any PROJECTS coming up in the next 2 weeks to get prepared (morning) Line out employees with the next 24hr plan (morning) Fill out The Daily Line out card for everyone detailing the days plan in order of priority. Review all reports in the (morning). Review all workplace and equipment inspections (morning) Verify employee time is entered correctly (morning). Review vacation schedule to make sure coverage is available (morning). Inspect the underground work areas looking for any unsafe conditions or actions and quality of work. Ground condition recognition. Fixed Asset laydown and storage areas housekeeping and condition. Utilizing employees to correct any areas of concern. (immediately stop any action or barricade a condition if necessary) (mid-morning/early after noon) Regroup with employees and adjust plan if necessary. (early afternoon) Convey any changes to essential departments (afternoon) Prepare a detailed scope of work for projects beyond normal daily inspections. Organize Equipment, Tools, Materials and consumables that may be needed to limit downtime. Participate in Day shift/Afternoon shift passdown (afternoon) Wrap up day’s events. Make sure all files are up to date, paperwork is completed/ turned in.
Qualifications
• Skilled in use of SAP functions and time tracking
• Ability to function as a team player.
• Ability to work in ethnical manner.
• Knowledge of general industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• MSHA experience
High Scholl Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or minimum 5 consecutive years experience would be preferred but not necessary.
