As the Lead, Engineering and Design, you will be reporting to the Sr. Manager of Ramp-Up and will support front end engineering studies and progress study concept development from FEL0 – FEL3.
Lead a multi-discipline engineering and design team to deliver the front-end engineering and design for the Bethune Ramp-Up project.
Develop framework for overall technical coordination and governance of technical deliverables generated for the project.
Ensure technical scope is aligned with overall project delivery and execution strategy.
Manage the identification and mitigation of technical risks on the project.
Ensure continual coordination with internal engineering groups within KSPC executing project as well as technical groups and SMEs within K+S.
Lead the integration and development of design criteria, design for safety and operations and basis of estimate for use by third parties to perform front end engineering studies

- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering
- Professional designation preferred
- 8+ years engineering experience in potash or heavy industry
- Demonstrated experience in Engineering environments and working with EPCM’s and consultants Proficiency in leading professionals
- Experience in FEED projects
- Interpersonal skills including problem solving and consensus decision making, technical evaluation and report writing
- Effective communicator in both verbal and written forms
The preferred location of this position is Bethune however, this position could work out of our Saskatoon location. Flexible work arrangement may be considered.
