K+S held the award ceremony for "MINT-friendly" and "digital schools" in Kassel.

The "MINT Zukunft schaffen" initiative has awarded 48 schools in Hesse the "MINT-friendly school" award. In addition, eleven schools were honored as "digital schools". The term "MINT" (STEM in english) consists of the terms mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. The STEM departments form the central economic innovation sector, which requires special support due to the shortage of skilled workers. As the host of the event in Kassel, K+S supported the award and thus affirmed its own efforts to promote STEM professions and training courses even more strongly.
