Five questions to Hind - Market and Internal Sales Management
Market Manager Hind reports on her day-to-day work in Market and Internal Sales Management and also talks about the advantages that K+S offers her as an employer.
1. What are your activities at K+S?
Since 2016, I have worked as Market Manager for France and Internal Sales Manager for the other countries of Southern Europe.
2. What are your tasks?
Support of the sales companies, support with price and quantity strategies, quantity planning, product promotion, market concepts, customer complaints, etc.
3. Can you tell us more about your varied career?
After my studies I started my internship in the department Agronomy and Advisory at K+S KALI GmbH (now K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH). The aim was to conduct a market study on agriculture in Morocco and Eastern Europe. After one year of practical training, I had the opportunity to join the company as an employee. After four years, I moved to the Strategic Marketing department, where I worked for more than three years. Due to a structural change, I took the opportunity to work in product management for one and a half years until I finally arrived at my current position.
4. What motivates you to work at K+S every day and why do you enjoy your work so much?
The change to operating business was a new challenge. We are very customer and market oriented here. In addition, the area of responsibility is varied and you have to deal with different topics simultaneously and act quickly. The good cooperation with colleagues also motivates me every day.
