6 Questions with Svenja
In a short interview Svenja will provide us with details and special insight into the application process for apprentices at K+S.
What is the best way to apply at K+S?
You can find all our open vacancies in our Job Market. For apprenticeships or dual-study-programs the Job Market results can be filtered to only see entry level vacancies for pupils and students. If you have found your preferred vacancy, you can apply directly via the button “Apply online now”. To apply online you will need your complete documents, such as your current CV. For our apprenticeships and dual-study programs fluent German is required.
What else do I need to apply online?
Along with your CV, we need a motivation letter in which you explain why we should choose you for our open vacancy as well as your personal strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, your two last school report cards are required. Please make sure your contact details are up-to-date and correct; your e-mail address is especially important for communication purposes. If you have any practical experience, you can add certificates as proof of this as well.
What happens next?
Once you have successfully uploaded your documents and finished the online application, you will receive a confirmation via mail. Now it’s our turn! We will check your application and give you feedback as soon as possible. If you’ve convinced us with your application, we will send you a link to an online test via e-mail. We recommend you use a laptop or computer for this test. Make sure you find a calm environment for the upcoming exercises
Can I prepare myself for the online test?
Yes, of course. If you would like to prepare yourself for the online test we recommend you read the job description again carefully. All requirements and knowledge desired are mentioned. Applicants for technical jobs will need to work on technical exercises, applicants requiring mathematic knowledge will be examined for mathematic knowledge and our dual-study-program applicants will be asked to demonstrate their knowledge of English. If you succeed in this step, we will invite you to one of our assessment days.
What is an assessment day?
The assessment days always take place at our various sites. The day begins with a second online test, which is similar to the first online test that you have already passed. Then we test your practical skills in hands-on exercises, depending on the field of job you applied for. Lastly, we would like to get to know you in a personal interview. (This serves as example for an assessment day.)

Thank you, Svenja, for your time.
