Recycling building materials
K+S Baustoffrecycling is specialized in the recycling of non-hazardous soil and building materials. In the more than 20 years of our business activity, we have received, processed, and reutilized 10.2 million tonnes of soil and 2.3 million tonnes of building material for the remediation of the former potash tailings pile Friedrichshall in Sehnde.
The core business of the Waste Management sub-segment of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH is the long-term safe recycling and disposal of hazardous waste underground. We also operate a processing plant for aluminum slag. Unique in the industry: the variety of sites, techniques, and processes.
